MAZAFATI

 

 

This type of Iranian dates are soft and wet with 15-35% moisture. These oval shape date are brown to black color. They are Delicate and rich flavour, with notes of caramel. Our customers are amazed by the sweet and soft melting of this special date. Mazzafati date grows in Kerman province (Bam, Jiroft, Kahnouj, Hajiabad,Tabas). Harvested every single year & No preservatives or chemical additives are added. The dates are cost-free from glucose and not heat treated generating it a fresh, raw, qualitative item. This type of date is full of vitamin B and loaded with needed daily energy. Meanwhile, because of its black color it is popular in European countries. The size of Mazafati date is between 2.5 – 4.5 cm and the harvest time is at middle of August.

 

 

Due to Piarom dates is the highest nutritional value, considered the most desirable date of the world and in southern Iran in Hormozgan province are cultivated & are one of the well known and most important type. It is meaty and Semi-Dry with 15% moisture. The color of this unique date is dark brown.Piarom dates have thin skin and because of its low sugar it is acceptable for diabetic people. With the start of the heat season, picking dates from the palm groves begins and the harvest time is middle of September

PIAROM

SAYER (SAIR)

 

 

These dates are called Saemeran Dates locally. They are the most popular in the oversea market where they are known as Sayer Dates (Sair Dates). 70% - 80% of Palms in Khuzestan are Sayer (Sair). They are semi-dried with moisture less than 17 % (under 15%). The Iranian Sayer Date is available in different grades & in pitted or non-pitted forms.

The uniqueness of Sayer (Sair) lies in its ability to produce great syrup due to its sugar content and nutritional value .

One of the most interesting specification of Sayer (Sair) is its longer shelf life in comparison with the other kinds of dates. Sayer Dates produce the best kinds of chapped dates and dates paste.

 

 

Zahidi dates are a rare type of dates that are characteristically small, firm with a handsome golden hue. They are meaty and offer a wonderfully nutty flavor that is often a reminiscent of peanut butter. Occasionally appearing with a slight tang that brings dried apricots to mind. They contain a variety of minerals (such as potassium, magnesium and protein), vitamins (such as vitamin A, vitamin B complex and vitamin C), sugars (such as fructose) & are much less sweet than most date varieties.

Zahidis can be grown in most tropical cities of Iran like: Khuzestan, Fars, Bushehr and the Kerman province. Their harvest time is usually around mid September in different areas. However availability in market is from October to March. The moisture level of these dates are less than the others where in this dates, it appears under 14%. Zahidi dates are undeniably flavourful dates.

 

ZAHIDI

Rabbi dates are semi-dry, long, oval dates, about 3-5cm in length. They have thin, meaty skin that clings to the flesh are a soft texture. Rabbi dates are in an attractive black colour, and have a unique and indescribable taste. They have a moisture content of around 16%. They grow in Iranshahr, Zabol, Chahbahar and Saravan cities of the Sistan and Baluchestan province.
This type of date is an appetizer which is believed to prevent consumers from cancer of the digestive system, improves gastrointestinal function, helps to relieve nervous tensions. It also aids in treatments of diseases such as Anemia and high fat level.
